Hair

By Casey Dalicandro

August 27, 2026

Forgetting how to curl my hair And yet it curls naturally Gosh why does it even matter Going to be told to not listen to them Of course, that's true That, I don't wanna hear from you For where is the day I love my curls Accept they are just as pretty as hers Getting asked "Why did you curl it" Getting asked "Why didn't you curl it" Oh I thought it's don't ask don't tell Today maybe I will make myself well Funny how no one will understand And yet she and he still have curls Good how my curls are silent Good how hair is already dead Oh are mine as valuable as hairspray Tell me why I must pray
